From set-top pong variations right up until the Xbox\/Playstation generation, I&#8217;ve seen and played them all. When home PCs started to become &#8220;a thing,&#8221; I was there also. Some of my fondest gaming memories are playing the early Star Wars titles on my old custom-built Pentium 90. I spent many an hour working through games like <em>Rebel Assault<\/em>, <em>X-Wing<\/em> and <em>Dark Forces<\/em>, not to mention non-Star Wars titles like <em>The Dig<\/em> and <em>Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis<\/em>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Now, many years later, <a title=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">these games are digitally resurfacing<\/a> and I&#8217;m ready to throw my money away. The folks at <a title=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">GOG.com<\/a> are selling these classic games at very reasonable prices. There are currently six classic LucasArts games for sale but there&#8217;s a teaser graphic claiming more are on the way.<\/p>\n<p>The current list of titles includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"X-wing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/game\/star_wars_xwing_special_edition\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Star Wars: X-Wing Special Edition<\/em><\/a> ($9.99)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Tie Fighter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/game\/star_wars_tie_fighter_special_edition\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Star Wars: Tie Fighter Special Edition<\/em><\/a> ($9.99)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Knights of the Old Republic\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/game\/star_wars_knights_of_the_old_republic\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic<\/em><\/a> ($9.99)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Indiana Jones\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/game\/indiana_jones_and_the_fate_of_atlantis\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis <\/em><\/a>($5.99)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Sam and Max\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/game\/sam_max_hit_the_road\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Sam &amp; Max Hit the Road<\/em> <\/a>($5.99)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Monkey Island\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gog.com\/game\/the_secret_of_monkey_island_special_edition\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition<\/em><\/a> ($9.99)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I absolutely loved that Indiana Jones game and can&#8217;t wait to play it again. This is also a good time to get re-acquainted with that great time-sucker, <em>Knights of the Old Republic<\/em>, which I gave up on a long time ago.\u00a0 I hope we get so see some more classics like <em>Dark Forces<\/em> and <em>Shadows of the Empire<\/em> soon.<\/p>\n<p>Are you excited?
