The Cut Scenes Archives Are Still Open

This website has been around since 1996 and was one of the first Star Wars sites on the internet. While I have not updated in with news in a long time, I enjoy keeping track of the “Cut Scenes” imagery that pops up online from time to time. You can navigate the menu above to dive into deleted material from the original and prequel trilogies. I’m not 100% I’ll ever work up the gumption to create something for the sequel trilogy, but you never know.

Here are some links to get you going:

  • Star Wars: Biggs Darklighter
Biggs sparked my interest in deleted scenes ever since I saw his photo with Luke on Tatooine in the Star Wars Storybook. I was seven years old!
  • The Empire Strikes Back: Restored Music
My good friend R. Lee Brown took an honorable stab at restoring some musical cues to parts of the film where there were none, or where they were different. The results speak for themselves.
  • Return of the Jedi: Inside Jabba’s Palace
Check out the section on the “Lightman” where Stunt Coordinator Peter Diamond tells me a little about this dangerous experiment.
  • The Phantom Menace: Coruscant
Fans were overjoyed when George Lucas brought Coruscant to life, taking the name from Timothy Zahn’s successful novels.
  • Attack of the Clones: Jedi Detective Work – Coruscant
One of my favorite aspects of this film is Gunshoe Obi-Wan, trying to piece the whole mystery of the film together.
  • Revenge of the Sith: Dead Jedi
So much happens in this film that it can be overwhelming at times. So many Jedi meet their fates, and here’s an alternate look at a few of them.

I apologize for any little broken video links. When I transferred this site over to WordPress many moons ago, many of the links broke and I’ll get around to fixing them some day. For now, enjoy the pics and if you are looking for one of those broken videos, just contact me here or on our Facebook page and I’ll send it to you directly.

Have fun and thanks for visiting!
